Bernie Brackford (she/they) is a nineties baby who grew up on all manner of fantasy, paranormal and sci fi media. Currently residing on the South Coast of England, they were diagnosed with combined-type ADHD in early 2026 and thought; why the hell not write a book?

Bernie is a huge fan of emotional narratives, flawed characters and a healthy dose of humour, and hopes to explore all of these things in their writing journey. 

When not writing, Bernie can be found curled up devouring a book with her two cats, Lazlo & Gizmo.
